Kylie (right) won the Verizon contest and got her date with Se7en. ^^
I would even settle for a Se7en look-a-like… although I guess that isn’t really settling…
You gotta watch this video footage of their date, it’s soooooo cute!!!
Edit: G-Dragon makes a cameo at 3:21… I can’t believe I missed him! He’s practically begging to be seen.
I’ve been anticipating their debut for some time now and I don’t love the song, but I definitely don’t hate it. As always I need more listens…
The MV has left me a little confused, I mean at one point in the MV, Sandara was making fireballs. o___O
And Park Bom was in a Playboy bunny costume. I kind of lul’d at that one.
But I do appreciate that the girls are doing something different from the other existing girl bands in the KPOP scene.
Regardless, the girls look fierce and so cool. Especially, CL, she’s gotta something about her. Like a female GD (L♥VE) or something.^^
Doesn’t Sandara look like she’s channeling T.O.P. sometimes? lol

I know I promised this review AGES AGO.
But what are you going to do, school had me bent backwards.
This is Dam Bi’s first full length album after three mini albums.
Let’s just get started.
1. 토요일밤에 (On A Saturday Night)
This is her latest single from the album. And while the intro is really nice… I have to say that she could’ve had a stronger comeback song. This song just screams “blah” to me. It doesn’t really have anything special and I did not like it even after many listens *shocked* Thumbs down B.
2. No Sympathy
This is a different version from the one on her 2nd Mini Album. This sounds like a remix, and I have to say while I loved the 2nd MA version, this one…. is not going to get many listens from me. I don’t like the feel of the new song, I don’t know, I liked it slower with fewer beats.
3. 두번째라도 (Even if it’s the second time)
This is my favourite song on the album. I think this may be the only song I’d listen to over again and again.
4. 느리게잊기 (Slowly Forgetting)
As much as I love Dam Bi, she isn’t someone I’d associate with ballads because her voice simply isn’t strong enough to evoke the emotions necessary for a ballad. Sorry, just my opinion.
5. Bad Boy (Remix)
Filler. But a great remix. This was on her Remixes Mini Album. Along with the following track.
6. 미쳤어 (Remix)
Filler. AND *yawn* The original version is the best. Just goes to show you shouldn’t mess with a great thing.
7. 그만하자 (Let’s Stop)
Sorry, don’t like this track either ><”
8. 투명인간 (Invisible Person)
This is unfortunate, I didn’t like this song on her 2nd Mini Album, and I’m sad to say that nothing’s changed.
9. Twice Too Many Time
This song is completely in English. And it’s not a bad song, even though you do hear an accent. People are speculating about a possible American debut. To which I’m screaming: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO*breathes*OOOOOOOOOOOO.
This is going to be a mini rant, but I have to get it out of my system.
I’m sick of all these successful Kpop acts trying to debut in the States. I’ll say it here right now.
You are not going to succeed unless you have full mastery of the language and culture.
That is the first and most basic step and without it, you aren’t going to go anywhere.
10. 토요일밤에 (Instrumental)
I sound really harsh in this review. But in a “full-length” album with five filler tracks, the other 50% better be stellar. Unfortunately this album did not deliver and I’m very disappointed because I’m a big fan of SDB, =(
Better luck next time B.
Normally I hate teaser videos and the like because they’re just that and it’s so unfulfilling. And no one likes a tease.
But I had to this time because the photo is absolutely smokin’
I love the new concept; looks like they’re going for an edgier look this time around, which I’m loving.
And who can say no to Jaebeom’s arms?
A few days ago, screen shots of this MV surfaced in the internet and people speculated that it was for a CF.
It turns out that it was true. Is it just me or are cellphone companies pouring out big bucks for these idol commercials (e.g. LG Cyon Big Bang and 2NE1 CF?)
Anyway, the CF is for the KTF Ever’s X-Slim phone and a full MV cover of Fin.K.L’s hit from the 90’s: Now. With Sunye as Hyori, Sunmi as Lee Jin, Sohee as Sung Yuri, Yeeun as Ock Ju Hyun and Yoobin … as herself. lol
Check it out:
This is the original Fin.K.L (Hyori’s group before she went solo) MV:
ROFL. Is anything original anymore?
This is the latest commercial for the LG Cyon Phone.
The Big Bang sunbaes are giving their hoobaes – newcomers 2NE1 a hand in this commercial. With Big Bang on board, I’m sure tons of people with be checking out the newest property of YG Family.
For those of you who are not familiar with 2NE1, they are the much anticipated new female group from YG Ent. produced by G-Dragon.
Members include: Minji, CL, Park Bom and Sandara Park.
I have such high hopes for Minji (so cute).
At first when I heard GD say: Nah, this isn’t how we do it. I immediately thought of another girl band that had an affinity for lollipops.
Now on to the MV, WTH is up with GD’s hair?! While in shock I penned this note:
My (hot) friend, there is a fine line between genius and just plain weird. This is definitely in the latter category. I have always supported your creativity but you look like you have a mop for hair and a janitor with that pink jumpsuit. Ixnay. Ixnay. I will still love you, but still. Ixnay.
P.S. Tell Seungri to ease up on the eyeliner
Moving along, T.O.P. YOU NEVER DISAPPOINT. SMOKKKKKKKKKKKIN’ HOT. Only TOP could look badass singing the words: Lolli, Lolli, Lollipop.
AND FOR ONCE, I actually liked the choreography, thank you, did we fire Seungri?
Whenever I hear
((play. this. sound.))
I get shivers down my spine because I know I’m about to hear a sick song.
This is not the first Brave Brothers – Son Dam Bi collaboration; they also gave us Bad Boy (I loved this MV) and Crazy (Can’t explain how much I loved this track. God I must’ve listened to it at least a few hundred times my poor roommates). Let’s see if they can push for a chart-topping dynasty.
This is the new MV for “On a Saturday Night” off her first full length album – Type B:
Personally, I am not feeling this song at all. But I don’t know, sometimes I say I hate a song only to love it after a couple more listens.
The video’s got a retro concept to it, which coincides with the comeback of the ’80s on the runway. Does the video remind anyone of Uhm Jung Hwa’s D.I.S.C.O featuring T.O.P.?
I’m a huge fan of Son Dam Bi so expect an album review in the near future. From the tracklist alone, I see a lot of “filler” tracks. And while I loved No Sympathy from her 2nd Mini Album, I was hoping for new tracks and not more remixes considering she already had a remix album. -____-
EDIT: I LOVE THIS SONG. lol
” Trying to make you my accessory
All girls are necessary
Like Will, I’m Legend. Feel Me.
You can Google me. Baby.”
I feel like we’ve covered all American culture bases: Womanization, pop culture and the internet.
Sure, we made fun of him for his ambitious 07/07/07 debut goal and then again for every one of his 6 setbacks (I pulled that number of the air, doesn’t it feel like there were 6? We’ll make it 7 for the sake of this post). Then there was that news about him being a total ass.
But let’s just stop and admire, because Se7en is still smokin’ hot and … yea… Like every hip hop MV, this MV features: scenes of a club, video hoes and gratuitous boobie shots c/o Lil’ Kim. WOOT WOOT. =____=
At one part he sings: ” I like ’em black or white”. That part made me laugh. I really don’t think so.
